The second Thursday in October saw a By-Election to select a North Worle Town Councillor.
There was a candidate for the Conservatives, one for the Labour Party and one Liberal candidate.
Our Conservative candidate, Marc Aplin, ran a strong campaign for local issues such as Road Safety, Recycling and local Parks.
On the day, Marc had a well-deserved win with an overall majority.
Marc has helped hugely by a large number of members who helped him visit local people and deliver leaflets. Marc is extremely grateful to all the members who gave their time to help.
Without doubt, the Ward will greatly benefit by having Marc as one of their Town Councillors and he is already hard at work improving the local area.
